So there's a contest for funny people goin' on over at the site by Shelly the Texan storyteller, This Eclectic Life. It's called "This Blog Blows My Dress Up," and even though that preposition hanging at the end makes my inner geek cringe a little, I entered a few of my funniest posts. Because I'm nothing if not humble, right? I have admitted to my Leadership class that humility is one of the leader traits I will be working on (along with patience and looking professional, although I know my students would have a hard time keeping a straight face, much less taking a word I say seriously, if I showed up in a blazer one day).
You, too, can be considered funny! If you write a blog, that is. If you don't, too bad for you. We funny blog people might win prizes and stuff. You could be like us...You know you wanna. Well maybe not. I can't speak for other bloggers, but I have counted the number of times I typed a variation of "funny" in this post, changed an exclamation point to a period and back twice, and proofread half a dozen times before hitting publish. So maybe this mania is not for you. Read some of the other entries here anyway, because laughing is good.
