This from James, a sophomore in my poetry class. It's his Author's Choice #3 selection, a haiku in need of a slight syllable adjustment in the last line but otherwise I think it's genius:
The snow is so white
I want to make a snowman
Then tackle his cold ass
Happy winter's day.
