Here is my question: If school is closed on what is already my "Teacher Work Day," will I still be productive? I'm guessing no. I envision my grading, planning, scheduling, filing, sprucing up the classroom while listening to the Naughty Mom playlist and drinking vats of coffee & tea day morphing into a sweeping, mopping, doing laundry, making beds, putting away toys while watching Harry Potter and preparing vats of hot cocoa at home day.
Sigh.
This whole prayers-answered-on-God's-time thing can be a tad frustrating. But instead of being a grouchy Grinch, I'm trying to enjoy the utter delight (the ear-bleeding shrieking of "IT SNOWED! IT REALLY SNOWED!!" at dawn's early light delight) of my kids' No School Today happy dance. Let's just hope it doesn't turn into anything like last year's production.
